Sephora interview!

Hey beautiful people!

I'm so excited! I have my second interview with Sephora next week!

Theres a small percentage of the population who truly loves what they do career wise....I left a decent job working for the department of homeland security cause, I'm in a place in my life where the "status" of a job is not as important as being happy with what I for a living.

I went to my group interview and wanted to share what I wore and how I did my makeup.

Now you KNOW I had to wear the black and white stripes!

What was most amazing about going to this interview was that I did not have take my piercings out or cover up my tattoos, I even left my tunnels in!

  To start, my makeup...
I went with nude lips and very nude eyes with a pop of blue...

I LOVE this color! When I wear bland colors I like to wear an "in your face" pop of color.
I kept the pants simple black slacks with patent flats.

Wish me luck on my 2nd interview!

Remember, beauty is not only what you create...its who you are!

Wearable look, using both naked palettes!

Hey beautiful people!

I put together a look that I wore to a friends wedding and, quite a few people commented on my makeup so I decided to share this look with you. Tell me what you think about it!

As much as I like the naked palettes, it's easy to pick up other products while using it cause, there just isn't enough matte colors.

Do you like?

On my face I used a foundation that's very new to me...its called stila one step. It caught my attention cause it claims to replace every aspect of foundation application...moisturizer, primer, foundation and  setting powder. Sounds amazing right?!

 I'm still playing with it, I'll do a review of it soon...

On my lips I kept it simple, Revlon soft nude lipstick and MAC fashion scoop.
On my cheeks I wore MAC springsheen.

Check out my vid to see how I did it!

(((myglam))) ....the bags and what came in them! pt. 6

The bag...
Umm...the bag, yeaa...lol.
So, don't really have much to say bout this months bag. I'mma go with thumper in Bambi on this one "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

//what came in them\\
For me, the highlight of this bag is the lashesss! They are ALL.Belle natural lashes, these are called princess leah. Believe it or not, these are my very 1st pair of lashes! Yes, up until now I was a "falsies" virgin hehe. Im super excited to try these out!

Yaaay! Myglam has added 2 more brushes!
These are all the brushes i've gotten so far. The most recent brushes are the 2, on the right of the big blending brush. They are the angled brush and, the small fluffy shader brush.

They have been added to the rest of the brush family =)

If you haven't seen it in my very 1st post on these bags, it also came with a case =)

The black tube (in 1st pic) is made by dermstore. It's a lip quench moisture-infusion lip treatment. "Formulated with Maxi-Lip to give thin dry lips a fuller, smoother, hydrated appearance."

Lastly, is an URBAN DECAY 24/7 glide-on pencil is the shade RADIUM.
It's a pretty, bright, slightly metallic blue.

Thanx for checkin out ya girls blog and remember...beauty is not only what you create, its who you are ;-)

(((myglam))) ....the bags and what came in them! pt. 5

<---This bag is the epitome of girly! I love the play on the satin blue and the bright pink, matte lips. It woulda been sugar IN the frosting, ON the cake if the lipstick was the same color as the lips.

//What came in them\\
For me, the highlight of this bag is the nail decals. For the people that know me knows, I love doin my nails! The decals have a simple silver like backdrop with pink hearts that pops off of the silver. When I need my nails done in little to no time, these will be my "go to" option. These decals are made by: iss beauty. It claims to last up to 10 days and you KNOW, i'm gonna put them to the test! *wink*

The next product in the pink folded paper is by Philosophy, it's a perfume called "love sweet love".
I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing any smell good whether its for my hair or skin, one would have to know exactly what I like. A lot of what's sent in these bags are sent at random so I must say, I am pleasantly surprised with the fact that it smells SO GOOD! I am shocked and pleased *big ol cheesy smile*

I gotta say, I'm lovin the fact that they are adding brushes to the bags! The 2 that came in this bag are fairly small, they can be used for cream based products. The smallest one can be not only be used for cream but, it can be used for the inner corners of the eyes or small "don't really need concealer" blemishes. For anyone who doesn't have any brushes yet, just sub to myglam and you will eventually have a full set =)

The lipstick is made by STUDIO GEAR, this color is in the shade "whisper". Just by looking at it I was kinda like, eh. However, swatching it changed my whole outlook on it. If I could describe it I would say, it's slightly bronze with a hint of pink. This color would look amazing on brown skin, *strong spanish accent* I mean sessi mang!

Thanks for checkin out your girls blog...questions or comments? Feel free..

(((myglam))) ....the bags and what came in them! pt. 4

This months bag almost looks like a cute glittery clutch....That's if you look at it real quick, in the dark with just on eye....lol.
But in all seriousness it's really cute. I am lovin this one, they've stepped away from their usual cute zip up bag. Don't quote me on this but I think this the "girls night out" theme.

//what came in them\\
The highlight of this months bag is most def the (grey-ish) living proof bottle. It's a nourishing styling cream. "stops frizz. period. weightlessly blocks humidity smooths and conditions no heavy silicones or oils"

      I say this is the highlight cause, my hair can go from this--->

                               To this----- >

Can you say yikes in any other language?! Anywho, on to the next product...lol.

There's the NYX lipstick in the shade "power". At first glance I wouldn't consider this a "go to" color however, a different gloss over the lipstick may make a difference.

The black pencil looking product is by MARBELLA, it's an eyeliner pen with a thin felt tip. It says its a permanent eyeliner pen. Now since I have such oily skin, its hard for me to find a good eyeliner that wont eventually smudge. Just to test it out, I did a light swipe on my finger...gave it about 30 seconds to dry and believe it or not, it didn't move. The real test will be when I'm out shakin my booty at the club cause, when I dance, I SWEAT!

Lastly is the white tube, it's a product by Philosophy. It say's "environmental factors such as sun, smog and pollution can cloud a complexion. Revitalize your spirit and your skin with a quiet and a deep breath."
"Oil-free energizing oxygen gel cream moisturizer"
My only beef (problem) with this product is that I have real sensitive combination skin, the wrong ingredient will cause a reaction would result in some "omg why?!" pimples...LOL.

Thanx for checkin out my blog....questions, comments? feel free =)

(((myglam))) ....the bags and what came in them! pt. 3

<--- This months bag

 The bag itself has an organic kinda theme....it's a simple egg shell colored fabric with green accents. On the bottom of the bag it looks like grass, its says   "back to nature" with the letter T being piece of grass with leaves. Kudo's to the person who came up with that idea. I appreciate your effort glam girls!  ;-)

               //what came in them\\
 Lets start with the BIG green tube...it's a freeman facial peel-off mask made with cucumber extract.
"This clarifying mask gently peels away impurities  while cucumber extract, leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky".

Now I must say, when it dried on my face I felt like one of those old women who tan WAY to much, tight and leather like...LOL. In the end, my face did feel like a new born baby's......I know your were thinkin a baby's bottom but, I was gonna say hands haha!

The smaller tube is of a hair care product by Chaz Dean....I heard good things about "wen" hair care products before receiving it so you KNOW, I was exciiiiited to try it! This one is a cleansing conditioner in sweet almond mint.

The 2 toned cream is a duo concealer called sheer cover....It's in light/medium. This product is distributed by Guthy-Renker. For those who don't know, Bill Guthy & Greg Renker are the founders of proactive solution. So you know like I know, that this product will be good on sensitive skin. Its sheer so its buildable, it wont look like frosting on your face...lol.

The downside is, not everyone subbed to myglam is light to medium skin toned however, my glass is half full on this one. This product can also be used for an eyeshadow base. This is an upside for darker skinned tones cause, using a white eyeshadow base may look like Wesley Snipes wearin them bright ass colors in To Wong Foo...lol.

Shady lady is an eyeshadow line made by TheBalm cosmetics....yes boo, this is a full size eyeshadow called "luscious lani". To me, it looks similar to urban decay's "sin". Want or need swatches, lemme know ;-)
